A very hidden and small place indeed. We found this place by using the Woyouzhijia app.
This place was about 80km from Haikou, and I decided to check out the site as the app had some nice pictures. If good, we will stay for a couple of nights and continue our journey from there. The road just got smaller and more narrow, and I was thinking about where we were going. Darkness and palm trees scratched the RV roof on the bumpy road.
Finally arrived at the destination of Sea View Island Club campground, and the owner came out and opened the gate to the area. I could see three other RVs parked, so others had also found the place.
We parked the RV as close to the beachfront as possible, avoiding the palm trees and close to the toilets where we got the power for the RV. The cost was only 100CNY/per day
Some pictures of the Sea View Island Club campground
The campground itself was not a campground. Just a sand slot under coconut trees with parking options and available electricity/water. Have to be careful about the coconuts dropping. A restaurant, a public toilet, and a couple of beach tables. That’s it. The place has potential for a stay, but the biggest issue is the lack of quality of the surroundings and the beach where you cannot have any activities.
Leaving the campsite after one day
We came late in the evening, planning to stay for a couple of days but quickly realized this was not a place to stay for a more extended period. Even though the beach looks nice thru the camera lens, there was nothing to do. The kids managed to crack one coconut, but there was no water. I bought two from the restaurant for them but they, as usual, did not like the taste so much. So it was up to my wife and me to finish them off.
Time to say goodbye and continue our journey
This was a place to experience; I think we will not see it again. Something good and something to improve for the keepers.
